Kyamuhunga Parish strives to model our parish life and activities in the love of our Lord and our Blessed Mother. Our Lord’s heart, crowned with thorns, reminds us of the deep love that He showed to every human person by giving His life for the sake of our salvation.

Our Blessed Mother’s heart was pierced with a sword in knowing what her Son must endure, but she gives us hope and promises us that she and her Son will never abandon those who love God with all their heart, soul and strength. It is in this hope and love that we come together to celebrate the Sacraments and bring the love of Christ’s Church to our kyamuhunga community.

Our pastoral staff is committed to the sick and the homebound as well. The pastoral staff make regular visits to area nursing homes, care centers and hospitals, providing the Sacraments to those who are not physically able to be present with us at Mass. Christ is present in all people and in all things. Through prayer, catechesis, formation, the holy Mass and spiritual renewal, our parish carries on the mission of the Church to proclaim the Gospel to all nations.

Our Parish also has the Comboni hospital, which was built by Comboni Missionaries, is a great relief to the people in the community. Other hospitals are found in Ishaka Town which is which is a great distance from the parish. Within the area covered by the Parish, there is a Spiritual Centre – Rwenjojo.
